Unity, New York Style, at a Pro-Obama Rally

Here's a brief moment of disunity at a unity rally in support of Barack Obama on the steps of City Hall this afternoon.

Representative Ed Towns was answering a question about the fact that Christine Quinn and other City Council members weren't there, and then, well, State Senator Bill Perkins and Representative Yvette Clarke kind of got in each other's way.

Senator Clarke needs to get a grip. This day was not about her. No mavericks needed.

Today Sen. Clinton gave a very moving speech supporting obama and where was he? On the golf course of course. How disrespectful and ill-mannered!

It was not necessary for Obama to be there. If he had been there it would have taken away from Hillary.

Bill Perkins and Yvette Clarke need a crash course in how to be a public official -- Yvette has been a do-nothing in Congress, and Perkins is so arrogant, his district is crying for help while he focuses on a job in a potential Obama administration.
