A method to their madness... City Lights Youth Theater, which aims to give youth the opportunity to realize they’ll never be movie stars before they do anything drastic like move to Los Angeles, stages a Spring Benefit and Auction, honoring Whitney Tilson, founding member of Teach for America, who will be introduced by New York City education czar Joel Klein. (City Lights is not to be confused with the beatnik bookstore where people used to do drugs and read to each other. No one in literature rages anymore!)
