Sunday night's BET awards, which featured a series of tributes to the late Michael Jackson from the likes of Janet Jackson, Jay Z, and Lil Wayne, scored the biggest night on cable this year, drawing big audiences from across the country, including in New York, where the telecast finished No. 1 in the weekly rankings. Elsewhere, ABC 20/20's back-to-back features on MJ and Farrah Fawcett both finished in the top 10—a nice consolation for ABC News after its Primetime Special Questions for the President: Prescription for America failed to make much of a splash in New York, where it didn't even crack the week's top 30 programs.
