Summer Movie Sneak Peek: Ten Big Flicks!

Star Trek: With X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek and Terminator Salvation all opening within the first twenty-one days of the month, May has the feel of Geek Apocalypse. Of the three though, we’ll take our chances with Captain Kirk (the soon-to-be ubiquitous Chris Pine) and the crew of the USS Enterprise. Early word on the franchise reboot has been strong and you can practically smell the popcorn coming off the trailer. Dare we say: beam us up? (May 8th)
Break out the SPF 50! The summer movie season starts in earnest this weekend with the openings of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and, frankly, we could not be more excited. Bank on the next four months being filled up by superheroes, stunted man-children, teenage wizards and an unusual amount of killer robots. (Seriously, is Hollywood trying to warn us about something?)
