ALBANY—After a series of departures from multiple corners of his administration, David Paterson announced a spate of adjustments and re-jiggerings in his administration .
Marty Mack, who had been serving as deputy secretary for intergovernmental affairs, is now the appointments secretary. Marissa Shorenstein has been promoted to press secretary to replace Errol Cockfield. Kermitt Brooks will temporarily fill in for Eric DiNallo as the superintendent of insurance.

Governor David A. Paterson today announced the appointments of Marty Mack to serve as Deputy Secretary for Appointments, Cathy Calhoun to serve as Deputy Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs and Thomas Congdon to serve as Deputy Secretary for Energy.
