Monday Inks Three Renewals at 230 Park
They say this year will be the year of the sublease, and it probably will be. But for lucky landlords, it will also be the year of the renewal. Case in point: Monday Properties, which has renewed 15,800 square feet of space at 230 Park Avenue with three different tenants, all, oddly enough, in the financial services business. The deals bring the tower to 92 percent capacity.
Hudson Abel Partners, an investment bank, consolidated two offices within the magnificently preserved building into one larger 6,000-square-foot space on the sixth floor. Newmark Knight Frank’s Jason Greenstein represented the tenant.
Two floors up, Arturo Ramos Peralta Associates, a management consulting firm represented by Dana Moyles, of Dana Moyles Real Estate, signed a five-year renewal for 3,800 square feet.
On the ninth floor, investment firm Merlin Biomed Group re-upped for 6,000 square feet. Monday Properties’s Craig Panzirer handled the negotiations for this deal, and he, along with Issa Deas, represented the landlord in the other two transactions.
