The Partnership for New York City, a business group co-chaired by Rupert Murdoch, just came out with a statement endorsing Lt. Governor Dick Ravitch’s financial plan for the state, which includes, among other things, massive borrowing.

“Business is emerging from the global recession prepared to make major investment decisions to determine where future employment centers will be located. Companies will look elsewhere if New York does not prove its commitment to fiscal responsibility and economic growth,” the Partnernship’s president,” Kathy Wylde, said.
