City Council photographer Will Alatriste snapped this artful photo of M.T.A. board members during a public hearing at F.I.T. recently.

It sort of captures the mood at the agency, which is, as usual, struggling with money.

At least they can take comfort in knowing that this hearing wasn’t as exciting as previous ones they held.
