Some people didn’t wait for today’s New York Times story to offer their criticism of the media. Before introducing Governor David Paterson at a luncheon in Albany this past weekend, Rep. Yvette Clarke  launched into a tirade explaining how reporting now “has really degraded to one of rumor, innuendo and speculation.”

“It’s unfortunate,” she said, “because it’s all part and parcel of what we’ve seen as the dumbing down of America.”
