This two-bedroom condo perched on the 71st floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel promises the best views in New York. With your pick of the Hudson River, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty and Jimmy Buffett, that seems like a fair promise.

The almost $6 million condo at 80 Columbus Circle is steps away from anything you might need in the city, just down the circle from the Time Warner Center. Listing brokerage Brown Harris Stevens promises "you will fall in love" with the Venetian plaster walls and floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as leather tile floors and automatic drapes.

The decorating in this 2003 building has all the charm of a luxury hotel, but as consolation you can take advantage of the 24-hour concierge, optional housekeeping, and, yes, room service. Thanks to one resident, Jane Buffett, gossip columns are all over the rare occasion when the man from Margaritaville stops by for a New York vacation. — Laura Kusisto
