‘Stupid’

Here’s a mail piece from City Council candidate John Heyer in Brooklyn, which taps into the general unpopularity of the institution.

On the back of the mailer, Heyer outlines proposals for more budget transparency.

Heyer is running for the seat being vacated by Bill de Blasio. The race, at times, has been noted for the intensity with which opponents go after one another. So attacking the Council itself, is, in this context, a way of taking the high road. Sort of.
