Here’s Leslie Crocker Snyder’s new television ad, titled “Seattle,” which says that Cy Vance spent years away from New York City “to make millions defending criminals, mobsters, murders, helping doctors who defrauded Medicare.”

Vance has defended his record as a defense lawyer, noting that some of the cases Snyder criticizes him for were actually cases appointed to him by a court. He has said that he left New York in order to make his own name. (His father was, among other things, Jimmy Carter's secretary of state.)
