Here’s a clip from this morning’s announcement in which Michael Bloomberg and David Paterson embraced the recommendations of the Ravitch report, which, among other things, calls for tolling East River bridges.
First, Bloomberg cuts off William Neuman of The New York Times during his question to say, “Go read your own newspaper.”
Then, Neuman finally got his question out: “What role would you take now going forward in making this proposal your own and trying to get it passed?”
“The one thing I don’t want to do is make this proposal my own,” Bloomberg said. “This should not be about personalities.”
