Tom Golisano's ads may start appearing tomorrow, but already, robocalls are being made to the public saying they should contact their City Council member to vote against changing term limits.
The calls are being put out by Democratic consultant Steve Kramer, who testified last week against changing term limits, and angered some lawmakers for threatening to make robocalls on the issue.
Here's the script of the call, which a reader in Manhattan claimed to have recieved already in English and Spanish.
Hello, this is Steve Kramer.
Your Councilmember, Robert Jackson, recently stated that he supports extending the number of years that he can serve on the NYC Council from 8 to 12 years.
