Two entities should be more of blame for the firings of Sixty-one (61) people from the NYC Council's Central staff last week, February 17th, 2006 and the previous NYC Central staff firing of 200 on Valentine's Day 2002. Blame Ronald Lauder, a disgrunted millionaire who can't win the New York Mayoralty for endorsing the Term limits Propositionand the majority of New York City voters who voted "Yes" for Term Limits. Remember this quote, "Think twice before you vote what you consider nice." Since Ronald Lauder is a charitable man, he should immediately give employment to NYC Council Central Staff persons that were terminated.
