Well, it could be worse - like, if he wanted to run Paris Hilton or her flaky sidekick, Nicole. But maybe he, or someone, scored a warehouse full of campaign memorabilia left over from the mid 60's-early 70's mayoral campaigns of John V. Lindsay. As I recall, there was a plethora of buttons, ties, and other goodies that said, simply, "LINDSAY". She wouldn't have to raise a dime, and people who don't know that JVL is dead might think, "Oh, he's running again? Cool!"
