Listen, it's not about DiNapoli. He may or may not be good at the job, that remains to be seen. What Spitzer was doing was picking a fight with Silver and the Assembly Dems, because he wants to make them look childish. So far he's doing a pretty good job. It's a smart political move, that may lead to Silver's downfall. If that happens, Spitzer will clearly be in charge, instead of being held over the barrel by a bunch of whiney, do-nothing, children.
