Snug Harbor (not verified) says:
McMahon will follow in the footsteps of his mentor Jay O'Donovan. After being term limited out of office, McMahon will run for Borough President and lose to a Republican. McMahon will then go back to walking along Forest Avenue. Maybe he can help us capture the buglar that has been terrorizing the north shore of Staten Island.
The primary for the North Shore seat in the next election will be a bloodbath. McMahon may back Ken Mitchell, but Mitchell is not a likeable person and it will show. McMahon grew up in the North shore, so he knows everyone, but the north shore is changing and I think the McMahon machine's luck is soon going to run out.
Someone gave Mike Arvanites good advice by telling him to back out of the race for Marchi's seat. Lavelle set Titone up for failure by backing him to run against Lanza. That is the ironic thing here, Titone will take the seat that Lavelle wanted to give to Lavelle's son.
By the way, Arvanites is not a likeable person either. He has made alot of enemies with his abrasive personality and arrogance.
McMahon has heled too few people along the way. He will need broad support to move up in the world and the little old ladies in West Brighton is not going to cut it.
