I haven't read the book either, but I've ordered it.

Jimmy Carter has been on several TV news programs, in the course of his book tour, and he doesn't sound the least bit senile, or foolish, to me.

I think it's time to ask Jewish Americans "Are you an American first? Or are you a Jew first?" Because it's starting to look like that's a conflict of interest for many American Jews.

I can understand the need for a Jewish homeland. But I can't understand the abandonment of the security of USA residents to the interests of the Israelis, by American Jews. That doesn't sit well with me.

And apparently it doesn't sit well with Jimmy Carter, either. I would suggest you find out what he stands for by visiting the Carter Center's official website.
