Benedict Properties of Great Neck , N.Y. are horrible!!!
They are known for ignoring their tenants phone calls and screening the calls. They have broke in to my apartment last year through the fire escape window guard. I believe they were trying to get into my neighbors unit to change the locks on them because they have been paying for several months. But instead broke into mine. They damaged personal property and touched my things. then they left with leaving my front door wide open. The super called me at work and said"your front door is wide open" I rushed back to deiscover what happened.
After that day "Scott" the building manager from Benedict Properties of Great Neck began to ignor my calls, complaints, and my messages that I want to no longer live there. For two months they had screened my calls and played phone tag with me.
I left the premises, left the key with the super "who was aware of everything and told me himself that they are horrible company". I have moved and signed a new lease. Now, almost a year after afterthing they decide to sue me for months of rent that they claim I owe. The last time I spoke to "Scott" he has threatened me, saying that if I proceed legally to get my security deposit back "which I have never recieved" they will destroy me and make me pay a lot of money. I have many more stories about Benedict Properties of Great Neck , N.Y. if anyone wants to know. They should be shut down!! I am persuing legal action against them.
