I have a littlte brother who has autism. Autism is not just a stuggle for partents and the child itself. But its a problem for siblings too. Growing up, the autistic child would get all the attention and you were expected to just take it and not complain. Also being an older sister, I took care of my brother and had to mature faster then most kids my age. I also was exposed to a reality that most adults do not have to face. I am 18 and undertand more about autism then most adults twice my age. People need to work on a way to get people more aware of autism.
