Take a look at the Rasmussen polling data. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents are united in opposition to the Senate Amnesty bill. Even the internal Democratic polling data (Carville) says the same thing.
Did I mention that McCain is losing support among Hispanics? Martinez has seen his poll ratings collapse in Florida?
Remember Lincoln Chafee? He supported Amnesty. Remember DeWine? Never met an illegal he didn't like. Remember Spencer Abraham? Whose staff helped to enable 9-11? Where are they now?
