One pop away from the end of his career, huh? And Pedro? Maine? Duque? Santana has been the best pitcher in baseball for a few years now. Any team would be lucky to get him. Don't know if the Mets will, but the Twins are certainly going to be in need of a CFer next year, and a 2Bman wouldn't hurt either. Also: Santana can hit (didn't he have a double and a triple against the Mets?). I'm not sold on Posada--he's on the wrong side of 35. Having a great season, but if anyone on this list is poised for a major downturn in production, it's Jorge. A-Rod...unnecessary, but again, who would complain about having him on the team, if money is no object. Riske is also a good idea. Affordable and more or less reliable.
