Having seen this film I was left severely underwhelmed. It's less Michael Moore and more earnest Bambi in its message, and disappointingly diluted in its punch to boot. Offscreen I like Redford and his liberal weltanshauung, but in an interview even he wasn't aware that the film's title is a weak derivative of "Lions Led By Donkeys" - used in WW1 to describe the foot soldiers led by stupid officers. A missed opportunity to politically inspire the American public (and catch up with the rest of the world).
