While there has been fan support for him in situations like this (with provocation), I am surprised that a man with so many listeners disappeared from the scene with barely a peep. There has been NO public clamor for his return. The pols & pundits miss him because they can't use his show for their agenda. The public could care less. Why doesn't he take a longer break? America has moved on. I think we have a 60 year old janitor here at work that is more in tune with what is going on in the world AND communicates more clearly than Imus. I honestly think you could find a better radio host if you randomly chose from a crowd.
