I agree with everything you said and wish I could have said it as well. I have stopped watching Russert, Carlson, and Matthews. Smug, self-satisfied and, in the case of Matthews in particular, self-congratulatory, fawning, and rude. I never thought anyone could make me turn to Wolf Blitzer, but these three have. He at least acts as if he were a journalist most of the time and not a self-absorbed, preening twit.

What wouldn't I give to have, as you put it, "real bonafide journalists." Can we make this happen?
