Ole Miss Alumni 2004 (not verified) says:

Yes, Eli is a good quarterback. We all knew at Ole Miss that he would rumble with the "big boys" one day. Who ever posted that degoratory comment about Eli regarding his state of the game four years ago, has a negative perspective. The QBs always have to bite the bullet for the whole team. A player's shortcomings are highlighted over and over again.

In essence, I believe that the critics of Eli Manning doubted him because he went to a school in Mississippi. MS always get the rap for this and that negative thing.

No one is perfect, but the results of the Super Bowl game should highlight Eli's successes and not his opportunities for improvement. Goodness, the goals of improving on opportunities, is to win football games and have a chance to go the Super Bowl. He won the Super Bowl and showed America his training, talent, and tenure.

Eli seems to be good guy and not a flashy athlete. May God continue to bless him, and I am looking forward some other exciting football games next year.
