This was not just one mistake. This was just the one time he got caught. He was probably arrogant enough to continue such unacceptable behavior--thinking he could get away with it. I don't see how his constituents could respect him after he knowingly violated the law, putting himself before the safety of others. He is supposed to protect his people and this shows that he is incapable of that!!
