Yeah: JB is the younger brother of W. All said, public leadership is not the less-complex (albeit not easy) job it once was. One problem is that us Americans have become addicted to the media to show us how well or how poorly our public officials are performing. Although it would be constitutionally impossible to implement, wouldn't it be nice if we Americans could live with a situation wherein we were required to apply for and maintain a license to vote? Not too difficult, just pass a test that helps assure all of us that those who close the curtain on election day actually know what America is, what it stands for, and what a candidate's duties, responsibilities and qualifications should be. I guess that idea would be opposed by the majority of elected officials who currently administer affairs on our behalf, since, of course, they campaigned for their jobs by appealing to our most momentary or emotionally leveragable interests.
