Well, her office already admitted that this is not the first year in which she used tax-levy funds for an outside consultant to write her 'State of City' (read, 'State of Mayoral Campaign') speech. These tax-levy expenditures do not include her use of Council staff time for this pompous event. Can our independent media and vigorous good government groups be counted on to weigh in and demand that she reimburse the City for these expenditures? Or will they give her a free pass?
