I loved the movie, but I did find it actually distracting that the costumes were definitely NOT from the 1990s. You could even tell this by paying attention to the actual TV footage that was shown throughout the movie, which was really from the 90s. Costumes, hair, makeup looked like what you'd see walking down the street today.
