Although I get the comparison(s) to JFK, I feel that Obama is actually something different all together. His cultural make-up, middle class upbringing, and community-based campaign style, coupled with a charisma that quite honestly, is distinctly black, make Obama as much a politician defined by the time that he operates in, as much as he defines said times.
