We wish to congratulate State Senator-Elect Aubertine on his well-deserved victory.

We are now just one seat away from taking back a majority in the New York State Senate and we believe that tonight's victory shows that people want a change. Our win upstate tonight gives us the momentum that we need to take back the two Republican-held Senate seats here in Queens County that will push us over the top and make Joe Bruno the Senate Minority Leader. We look forward to working with the DSCC and State Party to achieve this goal.
