I do not agree with your statement. It is true that some of the offenders deserve the time that they get, but there are too many instances where they give someone 15 years for carrying a bag of marijuana after being picked up for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, whereas the big drug dealers who do not get caught because they have their "soldiers" doing the dirty work, get picked up and released because they dont have any priors, so tellus is the law still there to protect our streets? and us? our children? what are they protecting?? the ones that are out there doing bad dont get caught yet they teach a lesson to some poor fool who didnt know better than to buy a "dime bag, cuz he wanted to smoke"? and five times out of ten the ones picked up are the ones that work, have a career a family and leave them behind to struggle, while they do time for someone else who is sitting "phat" somewhere sporting new chanels and driving a 300.
