This speech proves, once again, that Obama is completely tone deaf to the middle-of-the-road white voters he will need to attract to win the presidency. These voters don't care about nuanced speeches about race in America. They only care about how a candidate could have a 20+ year relationship with a pastor who says "God damn America." This speech was a failure for Obama.
