Not only black/white history, but native american, asian american and mexican american. There was also hesitation on the part of the U.S. to aid the Jews in Germany in WWII. Only half of the real U.S history is taught in school.
America has made great strides in civil rights, but it has a long way to go. The only way to move forward is to know and understand what has happened in the past.
