Lord, I'm tired of snippy, crappy, unnecessary celebrity-bashing in the context of criticism. Like his work or not, Schwimmer has been a seriously-committed actor since he was a student at Northwestern and a charter member of the ground-breaking Lookingglass Theatre. Until he had a hit with FRIENDS, he was one of those actors whom other actors admired for his intelligence and dedication. But as soon as you make some money out of a sitcom, instantly you're subject to gratuitous jibes. Review the movie. That's fair. Pan the movie, if you think that's appropriate. But it's hypocritical to bemoan the mindlessness of celebrity obsession and then play the celebrity card yourself. I didn't notice that either Jennifer Aniston or Brad Pitt were in this movie, so how are their names relevant to the review? You can write better than this.
