Apparently McCain's Panama Canal Zone birth is going to be a hot button issue. Legal scholars are in doubt as to how to interpret the Constitution. Some people may intepret "natural-born citizen" differently. There's a lot of fine lines.

From what I've read a lawsuit against McCain is most likely a sure thing, if he wins the presidential election in November. Moreover, any American citizen can file a lawsuit against McCain. So if McCain should win the election, the Supreme Court will be the ultimate authority, and they will be forced to make a ruling fast.

High-profile people, and especially famous gay entertainers, may have the letter of the law applied to them unfairly. Mr. VIP politician may break numerous campaign and filing laws, but it's overlooked. Elton John is Elton John, so he doesn't get a free pass.

Elton John is a wonderful human being, and he has contributed millions to American charitable organizations--including his own AIDS foundation. He owns a condo in Atlanta and his partner, David Furnish, just recently purchased a condo in West Hollywood. They pay a lot of taxes--money that we desperately need since our coffers are on the slim side as a result of Bush's great spending habits.

America is lucky to have this gay couple as part-time residents.
