Although I would like Clinton to quit now so we can lanch a Democratic candidate at McCain ASAP, I have been persuaded by the argument that she has the right to campaign throughout the scheduled primary season. However, threats to battle over delegate seating at the convention are not helpful; this ends in June, hopefully Clinton will see that.
Just BTW, the analogy between Hart and Clinton is rather weak, since Hart self-destructed and even before his scandal, his weakness was becoming obvious; the fight between Mondale and Hart remained rather civil throughout, unlike Clinton's viciousness, which has no parallel in Democratic Party politics but appears to be something she learned from the Goldwater/Rockefeller primary of '64 - although god knows why she thinks this is a viable model for a presidential election!
