You are spot on Hillary! Perhaps some people (like me) have forgotten, or are not that familiar with parts of our American history because it was never made interesting enough growing up. When I was in high school many moons ago, much was not elaborated in my history class.

I love how this mini-series has brought the history to life, it's whet my appetite to research and read more about it.

And to think I almost missed out on watching this series. I'm also really glad I got a chance to meet Paul Giamatti about 3 weeks ago at a broadway play we both attended, The Seafarer, which also starred David Morse. Made me appreciate the miniseries even more.
