I believe that Ms. Kroll did not pass muster because of her less than professional real estate broker, Brian Manning, from Brown Harris Stevens. Reports are that Brian didn't quietly vet the whole matter and left all the work up to the listing broker. How some mediocre broker such as Mr. Manning came to work with such a hi profile client is strange...could it be Hall Willkie, president of Brown Harris Stevens, had some role here as well?
