If you can stop fawning and rewrite this article with more interesting facts, about Ms. Bruni's tastes and ideas maybe we can see her as a whole person. Long before you even knew who she was some of us were listening to her music and reading about her life and accomplishments. If Americans can get over their desperate need to worship and just admire from a focused distance attributes in someone without running to their check lists of famous people they need to use as bench marks they might have clarity to choose their leaders and social models wisely and stop making ridiculous comparisons. Diana, Jackie, Marilyn please let them RIP. Start looking at people you admire for exactly what they are and not what they remind you of.
