Not that I am keen to follow up on this topic relentlessly, but for my money a "feud" takes two participants, and at least one supposed participant never responded, never quarreled publicly, never remarked on the situation at any time. Ergo, the word "feud" is incorrect. I leave it to you guys to come up with a better one.
