As a fellow parent of PS 116 I concur on Ms.Rudds comments regarding the lack of good planning for our public school children.
It is dismaying to see all the new construction going up in the Murray Hill area of Manhattan with no regard or thought as to where all these children will go to school.
The city planners,the developers,the department of education and the school construction authority all seem to hAve the best interests of the future of our city....our children...as the last thing on their minds
