Fred Cerullo is the Republican's best shot to keep the seat. He's a moderate, experienced, has the support of the Staten Island establishment and is extremely well liked on both sides of the aisle and is also well liked by Bloomberg. If the decimation of the party is as complete as many think it will be in November, Cerullo is a perfect image of how the party should reconstruct itself.
