A South Carolina daily, The State, finally unearthed the amount that Rudy's $100,000 South Carolina benefit speech actually raised: $40,000. So after Rudy's own contribution, he got $80,000 and the Red Cross got $60,000. We see why the South Carolina Hospital Association was a bit reluctant to release their fundraising number to us.
