Ferrer finance chief Leo Hindery has a modest proposal for retiring Freddy's campaign debt: "If [Bloomberg] would just write me a check for as much as he wrote the Sheraton on the night of his election, we'd have it pretty well taken care of," he said this morning. Of course, Freddy has to raise the money within campaign finance limits, but you get the idea. Will Mike take pity? (Cost of that election-night party: $249,765.)
