Must Have Been Another Comrie

New Picture.bmp

This is a little awkward.

Morshed Alam, who is running for the assembly in Brian McLaughlin's Queens district against Rory Lancman, sent out literature noting that he was endorsed by Council Member Leroy Comrie.

That's fine, except for the fact that Comrie says it never happened. Here's what he says about it now:

"I haven't endorsed anybody in that race."

So why did this guy say you did?

"We served on the school board together. He's been calling me and begging me and calling me and asking me and calling me and asking me. I told him I'd try. But I was in the middle of budget process and wasn't thinking about anything else."

He's cute I'd endorse him!

If you look at the flyer, it said he is endorsed by leroy comric, not comrie. maybe there is some councilmember somewhere with that name. what a cynic you are.

Morshed is a tool. Lancman wins in a walk

Lancman and Alam are both tools and neither one of them has the experience to go to Albany.
I dont care how many times they try to tell you that they have done so much for the community. This race is completely a popularity contest. Everyone knows that Lancman is Queens County's puppet abd has the backing of all of County's die hard perennial candidates. Everyone also knows that Alam might have been the county designee if he hadnt aligned himself a few years ago with Chet Szarejko. By siding with Chet, Alam went against County and County-darling District leader Honey Miller who Chet has had a notoriously bad relationship with for years. This race is just another nail in Morshed's political coffin.
