Goo-Goos for Kavanagh

Manhattan Assembly candidate Brian Kavanagh's week keeps getting better.

Yesterday, he was endorsed by the Times, primarily because of his reform message.

Tomorrow, according to a source, he'll get the nod from Citizens Union, the city's oldest good government group.

You really are a tool. What reform message, pray?

Brian is certainly having a good week. The Citizens Union endorsed him for City Council, so that is no surprise. Furthermore, Sylvia is opposed to a few of their pet causes, like appointing judges instead of electing them, and term limits.

Despite the good news from sources outside the district, Sylvia has the street cred that Kavanagh lacks. Ultimately, it will be the institutional pull that will win. My money is on Sylvia.

Who has and hasn't endorsed Sylvia? I'm not so sure everybody is on board...

If Sanders and Brian are Goo Goos then Al Sharpton is not black. Sander's gave a bribe to the Assembly Democrat Committee when he left the Assembly Last year. What does he do now he Lobbyies the Asembly.

Brian has a lobbyist group running his campaign.

By the way the guy who did the kiss ass flyer of Freddie and Sharpton is now working for Brian.

Was that flyer racist or appealing to racist fellings?

Seems if the press does not cover and gives simple dumb and wrong facts, anything is possible.

Brian is a Goo Goo now that a good ass kiss.

Sanders didn't go to work for any lobbyist. He went to work for Dennis Vacco.

You say "... Kavanagh is for REFORM"? Are you on crack?

First, Kavanagh is a slick talking, pandering, carpetbagger that has no roots in THAT district. He just moved it because Sylvia is a weak link.

Second, like Mark Twain said "If you don't read the paper you are uninformed and if you do read the paper you are misinformed!"

The Times did not bother to contact, or even review, all of the candidates. The lifelong resident of the district that IS running was never contacted by The Times in any way.... that candidate is Juan Pagan.

So much for the endorsement, IT WAS BIASED!

The Times is not the perfect ORACLE of wisdom ... it is just maybe best we have in New York City political media. Sometimes it prints pure crap!

In truth Kavanagh is just another "go along", uninspired putz, in an empty suit that wants the power but has no real higher purpose or commitment to the people. He raised a lot of money and now he is using it to BRAINWASH the masses. (You might ask, who does he have to payback for all if that money?)

I KNOW THAT KAVANAUGH IS USELESS, REALLY USELESS! I talked to him. I lobbied him on children's and family issues. I got pandered by him. Frankly, he makes me sick.

If you want to vote YOUR heart and your mind ---- talk to Juan Pagan then make up your own mind about who is best for the job.

The only goo-goo's Kavanagh gets are from himself when he ogle's himself in the mens room mirror.

Kavanagh is like many of the ineffective status-quo NYS Assembly persons that infest the halls of the State Capital. Reform? Effectiveness? Positive change? A fighter for his district & the State? NOT Kavanagh.

Two credible, independent sources have confirmed what anyone who's met the candidates already knew: Only one of them will be a real reformer, and that's Kavanagh.
