Lieberman v Comments

MoveOn.org hasn't been friendly territory to Joe Lieberman for some time, but some of the criticism of the hawkish "independent" Senator on its website has now drawn the attention of the Anti-Defamation League.

Lieberman's spokesman Dan Gerstein forwards this letter from the ADL, denouncing the tone of some of the comments on MoveOn's message board.

"Specifically, we would urge you to exercise your own First Amendment rights and issue a statement making it clear that your organization finds such message abhorrent."

The press loves it when the anti-semites come outta the woodwork...the more outrageous the better. That's why moveon.org exists to be outrageous.

It's like violent hurricanes; tragedies and celebrity scandal. The media hypes it up and then puts on the fake sad face while promoting the heck out of the story.

This is such hypocricy.

Lieberman is complaining about what people write in the comments section?

Isn't Lieberman a regular on the shows of anti semites like Pat Robertson and other hate mongers like Imus, Hannity, Beck?

Lieberman has no problem with hate mongers who support him.

Sorry Don. You toss outnames of idiots who are on TV and radio and have been given their supposedly honorable media role by the folks at NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. You may not like 'em but THEY are mainstream. The racists and anti semites who blog have no possibility that they get fired for crossing the line. That is what makes MOVEON.ORG disgraceful since they lose nothing by shutting up the most blatant bigots -- unless they agree with them.

Oh, if this isn't the height of Baby Joe's whininess. Might be good for him to focus on his Joe for Joe campaign rather than worrying about what people are saying in "Comments" sections.

He can't defend his record so he has to create issues - God, does this man's ego know no bounds?

Look no one can doubt that moveon has a significant amount of anti-semitics on the board. AT THE SAME TIME, Lieberman isn't losing because of anti-semitism.... In fact, Lamont has said he is pro-israel.......

That said, I support Lieberman.....

Well folks, looks like the anti Lieberman lunaticss are starting to take ove this asylum too. When anti-semite (semitic) is spelled correctly two dozen times on this stream, you have a foaming from the mouth hater who still cannot spell it correctly.

Look, at the end of tha day some of Lamont's backers are getting upset with his sudden pro Israel stance. Who are they going to vote for now??? After it's all said and done if Lieberman wins, MoveOn will have to crawl back into their slimy hole thet they loaned Saddam. If Lamont wins, how long before he becomes too unpure for them too??

Bob Lonigan (not verified) says:

If there was a Christian nutjob like Jerry Falwell or Jim Bakker that had the power and influence that LIEberman had in DC, it would be a moral imperative to call them Christian nutjobs.

LIEberman is a Jewish nutjob. Personally, I don't want religious nutjobs of any stripe anywhere near the levers of state in DC.
